13. Testimony of Ann Putnam, Jr. v. Tituba

The deposition of Ann Putnam [Jr.] who testifies and says that on the 25th of February 1692, I saw the apparition of Tituba, Mr. Parris' Indian woman, which did torture me most grievously by pricking and pinching me most dreadfully until the first day of March, being the day of her examination, and then also most grievously, also at the beginning of her examination, but since she confessed, she has hurt me but little.
