11. Testimony of Ann Putnam, Jr. v. Sarah Osburn

The deposition of Ann Putnam [Jr.] who testifies and says that on the 25th of February 1692, I saw the apparition of Sarah Osburn, the wife of Alexander Osburn, who did immediately torture me most grievously by pinching and pricking me dreadfully and so she continued most dreadfully to afflict me until the first day of March, being the day of her examination, and then she did torture me mostly dreadfully in the time of her examination, and also Several times since, Good Sarah Osburn has afflicted me and urged me to write in her book.
