10. Testimony of Elizabeth Hubbard v. Sarah Osburn

The deposition of Elizabeth Hubbard, aged about seventeen years, who testifies and says that on the 27th of February 1692, I saw the apparition of Sarah Osburn, the wife of Alexander Osburn, who did most grievously torture me by pricking and pinching me most dreadfully, and so she continued hurting me most grievously until the first of March 1692, being the day of her examination being first of March, and then also Sarah Osburn did torture me most grievously by pinching and pricking me most dreadfully, and also several times since, Sarah Osburn has afflicted me and urged me to write in her book.
